I’m so glad Stuart stayed loyal to UT since he also had an Arkansas offer!!!! He’s a big time playmaker.

Go Rockets!!!!

Craft did not redshirt. He played in 7 games according to stats.

Also Dyonte Johnson played in all 12 games, so he will be a sophomore.

One LB name left off the list is Erik Davis who will be a senior.

Also, in the twitter postings about the UT signings, they listed Woliver as a DE.

He was listed on 247 as LB, but I can see him on the edge.

I’m hoping UT signs RB Jalen Mitchell (Rockledge FL) in Feb as we need 1 to 2 RB’s still in this class with loss of Thimpkins and Sims. He’s definitely tuned into what’s happening at UT as indicated by action in his Twitter account.

Go Rockets!

Offensive Line

Chandler Cotterman Jr
Brandon Heidecker Jr
Cameron Bell Jr
Tyler Long Fr
Kelvin Ateman Fr
Josh Fenn So
Luke Doerger So
Mitchell Berg Fr
Sami Kassem Sr
Kedonis Haslem Fr
Cameron Ervin Fr*
Brock Ruble Sr
Bryce Harris Jr
Nick Rosi Fr*
Lavel Dumont Fr
Conor Head Fr
Yazeed Atariwa Sr
Conor Ashman Fr*
Michael Bergen (2019)

A total of 19 players on the list, although the ones with * may all be walk-ons, meaning 16 scholarship players. Losing three seniors, which leaves 13 scholarship OL next season. Most schools like to have between 14 and 17 offensive lineman. We lose four seniors next season. Confusing that we bring in only one OL when we're losing 7 over two years. Are we going to sign 6 or 7 offensive linemen next year? That would still leave us low on scholarship numbers. Of course, none of this addresses the fact that the OL wasn't very good by UT standards.

I think the concern may be the fact that if none of these guys could get playing time this year, do we actually have any quality players that can step in an play next year

Candle makes up for quality with volume. :)

RE: Early Signing Period NLI FB
The above list has 14 scharlarship players of which 3 are seniors in 2018 which leaves 11. Add in the hopeful 3 greyshirts plus at least one current commit- maybe 2 and one arrives at the “magic” 15 OL qty that most NCAA teams like to target. Cotterman May never be the same, I don’t know, so that puts us at 14 and I do think Carey, Bisek, and Baker are still in the fold. It’s still likely that UT adds one more OL recruit in Feb.

I think the talent is on hand for future success!

Go Rockets!!!!

Do you know if they enrolled first semester paying their own way, or will start school in January? Never know with greyshirts.
