AFR Celebration Bowl: Alcorn State vs North Carolina A&T (ABC, 12 noon)
Bowl Mania kicks off in less than an hour with the Air Force Reserve Celebration Bowl!

This FCS bowl features SWAC Champion Alcorn State vs MEAC Champion NCAT for the Black College National Championship!

Live on ABC from Mercedes-Benz Stadium in the ATL!

NCAT is the defending black college champ, defeating Grambling in last year's Celebration Bowl, 21-14. This year's NCAT is almost as formidable, boasting a win over FBS East Carolina earlier this season.

I'm a SWAC man though so will be pulling for Alcorn! 02-13-banana

Alcorn has rallied ....

Should have been an even better game - Alcorn got rooked on their two-point conversion that was called no good.

It was the right call. The kid didn't complete the catch. I originally thought that it was a catch while I was at the game because they only showed one angle but when I got home I saw once he hit the ground the ball came out.

I guess we have to disagree - I watched it a couple times and never saw the ball come out when he hit the ground.

The real question is how long will A&T remain in the MEAC.

I wonder about that ... are the fans itching to go to another FCS conference?

IIRC, Hampton left the MEAC, I am not sure how that is working out.

NC A&T has expressed several times that they have no desire at the current moment to leave the MEAC.
