FCS Semifinals
Classic bloody rivalry between NDSU/SDSU in Fargodome.

NDSU has a player named “Easton Stick”. That’s the most Minnesotan/hockey name ever.

Got bloody for SDSU. Bison win 44-21. SDSU QB needs a bottle of Tylenol and a couple tubs of ice tonight. Can't believe he got put back in the game after the first big hit much less the second. Either SDSU has no concussion protocol, or he's the luckiest SOB I've seen in awhile.

Eastern Washington vs. Maine tomorrow for the right to lose to NDSU in Frisco. (It's true, but meant in as joking a way as possible; NDSU is unreal this year.)

And not just any player. That kid can play.

I was especially impressed, though, by the way the NDSU coach and his entire team have handled his decision to accept the Kansas State job. Kudos.

Maine had to travel to Eastern Washington. Wonder what that travel itinerary entailed. 42-hour for equipment truck if non-stop.

The Boise field is bad but that red field is even worse on the eyes.

Don't count EW out vs NDST next week, though, they will give them a good game.

Although not FCS, Lindenwood has a memorable stadium.

Eastern Washington has no chance of beating NDSU next week.

They might have a chance to beat them on January 5th, when the FCS championship game is played. 07-coffee3

A few years ago they pushed it back so that the FCS would crown their champ within a few days of when FBS does.

It was mainly because they expanded the playoffs from 16 to 20 and then 24 and they needed another round of games. Nobody really wanted to put the championship game that close to Christmas. So it goes to the first weekend after New Years.

It was that, get rid of the bye week, or start the season a week earlier.

And I really don't think EWU has a chance no matter what day it is. This NDSU team is an absolute buzzsaw. Either the best or second-best team we've ever had. Don't know if I agree that we're an overall top-15 team this year, but 20-25? You bet.

I was under the impression that Boise State had the blue turf copyrighted so no one else could have one. There is nothing on Bowie State's website to suggest that they do.

The University of New Haven (D-II, Northeast-10) has a blue field.
