Which team is without their coaching staff? Putting a kid back in the game that can barely walk....has to be a coach calling his first game ever.

Seth Littrell stock is dropping really fast.

Unt defense looks very bad.

I am sure Littrell was listening to Fine saying that he is good to go, and while I admire Fine’s heart, a coach has to know when to protect the player’s best interest and welfare. Sometimes even from themselves.

This just goes to show how bad the offense was in CUSA this season....only a couple good qb's

Utah State is good. Without a healthy Mason Fine, we have no chance. And, the altitude is killing an already gassed defense.

This one is going to end up really, really ugly :(

Not trying to be argumentative, but the altitude didn’t bother us last year. USU is just a good team.

So the UNT offense is not system...it's really just a pretty good QB? If so the UNT coach made a major mistake before this bowl game

Wouldn't matter if Fine was 100% or not. He can't play defense too.

Agree. But, it would be a lot closer. Of course, all those horrible snaps (4 of them) don't help things.

The altitude doesn't help us any, either. It's one reason why I didn't want to go to New Mexico. Add that we're playing a team used to the altitude and it's bad all around.

I imagine it was easier for Wyoming than it was for us and we did okay.

Lets be honest, most teams have a huge drop off between the starter and the backup.

It didn't bother UTSA the year before that either. It's possible that UNT came into this game without any conditioning.

That’s what I was saying. IMHO, altitude is a red herring. We played CSU last year and did okay too. USU is just a very good team. UNT missing Fine certainly isn’t helping, but UNT doesn’t have a run defense.

Looks more like ATTITUDE than ALTITUDE.......Utah State is good, but not THAT much better than North Texas...what gives?
