Genard Avery worked out well. Coxie not qualifying at LSU has worked well. I’m sure there are other examples of positives.

Riley Ferguson and Harnett Gill were also JUCO bouncebacks same year as Cook. Jonathan Wilson enrolled in the fall after not being able to follow his brother to Tulane. Multiple transfer/bounceback/late enrollees have made impacts for Norvell.

Genard Avery played with us all 4 years. Was ready to transfer to Ole Mistake at one point though

That's my question. Seems like we get a transfer every year from there.

Brady White (Az St), Tito Windham (Oklahoma), Riley Ferguson (UTK), Cook (Bama) since Norvell has been here.

ahh i admit my defeat. i though cook was juco, then alabama then dismissed from the team then came to memphis. my point still stands. i cant name a direct transfer player that has panned out to be a decent player since keiwone malone (other than brady white)..

amendment**i would like to apologize to mose frazier, whom transferred from ark pine bluff, he is more recent than keiwone.

His name is escaping me at the moment, but an OL grad transfer started a couple of years ago. Seems like he was local, went to UL then ended up at Memphis.

Broussard is not a direct transfer either. He is a bounceback from juco. I've listed 4 similar guys - either direct transfers or bouncebacks - just in CMN's 3 years here.

That's my question. Seems like we get a transfer every year from there.

Answering my own question. Malzahn and Norvell were at Tulsa together for 2 years.
