Absolutely phenomenal job. I honestly think this has the potential to be an upgrade..

So pumped for this hire. So much experience and a similar mindset and style to what Houston and his staff implemented. Also love his offensive mind and ability to coach up young quarterbacks. What he's done with Davis Cheek is impressive.

You can call and “write” recruits during the dead period, just no face-to-face visits. Not sure, but even FaceTime/Skype may be allowed.

The bigger deal is the signing date coming up.

Was QB at WV so will be an exciting first game for him!

I like the record of success with two programs, also as part of winning staffs at different stops and with recruiting success at different stops.

I don't think many here disagree with you, I think the biggest concern with him was he would be another short-term coach working his way up the ladder. Let him cut his teeth somewhere else on his way to FBS.
