I keep thinking Dorsey with a different body type. But like Dorsey does all the things that matter.

I've only seen Dandridge in AAU..don't think he has the offensive skills of either but guessing he's more of a Derrick Phillips type as a college player.

Derrick Phillips? . . . That's high praise in my book.

He has way better offensive skills than Derrick. Has nice touch on his shot and what gets overlooked or not talked about is his passing skills. Wiseman benefits every game with great passes from Dandridge. He feeds the post extremely well, actually better than any guard on his team. He also sees the floor very well. Uses skip passes all the time. He will be a dandy for Penny.

I can see this...

Better offensively but not quite as good defensively but a similar player.

I see Wiseman as maybe being a tiny bit overrated, Dandridge as big time underrated.

Just curious, what gives you the impression he is a tiny bit overrated?

I don't see him as having the aggression, toughness and motor that Rose and Tyreke had. I think he is extremely talented and he is going to be a great player though.

RE: Wiseman, Dandridge, Murrell tonight
From what I have seen and heard, those arent issues so far his senior year. I have never heard any issues with his toughness or motor, but lack of aggression has been a knock on him in the past.

Trust me stammers when I say he has the aggression and motor. I have gone to see him three times already this year. Probably going tomorrow night too. He gets very pumped up. He plays with lots of fire. I think you will be pleased. I know I am. That’s why I keep going back to see him.

The knock on Wiseman has been his aggression but since he signed its like he's taken his aggression to a new level. You can see a real difference in his play.

It will be hard for Dandridge to equal Anthony Douglas. Six was an McDonald's AA and scored 11 point while guarding and holding his own against Shaq. But he has all the potential. We know Penny will utilize him in the right way. At least we will have some size next year.

I could see that from him last year, but that was last year. He plays with plenty of fire. He’s attacking the rim hard. If he has the slightest opportunity to slam it, he does so and he looks as if he’s trying to rip the rim off.

Why have so many other recruiting threads been zapped from the D-F but this one stays?

I mean, I think they should all stay.

But I am #afaf

Pretty much every home game he played in the MSC.

I saw him go toe to toe with Waymon Tisdale.

I always viewed it as Keith Lee going toe to toe with both Tisdale and Ewing. I realize Derrick defended both of them. But the stat lines for the Georgetown game was....

28 points 15 rebounds for Keith Lee
10 points 11 rebounds for Derrick P.
24 points for Pat Ewing

All I’m saying is I believe Dandridge will be a better offensive player than Derrick P.

Phillips was a very steady player defensively and on boards... but had hands of stone.

Absolutely. We called him skillet hands. Steady, tough defender, like you said.

Dandridge is WAY more athletic than big Derrick and is a much different type of player imo.
