He reminds me of Anthony Douglass. Big 6 was great beside David Vaughn.

What get's lost in translation about Malcolm Dandridge is he can litterally guard all five positions! All night he guarded Whitehaven's ball handlers!

I see Wiseman as maybe being a tiny bit overrated, Dandridge as big time underrated.

What kind of offensive skill set does Malcom have? Is he a one dimensional player or can he create his own shot if needed? What kind of range?

I don't think Wiseman is overrated. I think he's the Unicorn! Maybe the best to ever put on the uniform!!

Just curious, what gives you the impression he is a tiny bit overrated?

Dandridge is truly a 4-5 rebounder with offensive skills from 15 feet in. Solid passing ability, great footwork and work ethic. Smart kid. Big, strong
guy. IMO, he’s a steal and will be a better college player than high school player. He’ll be around the basket all the time.
Just my opinion.

Yeah I agree with that and with Stammers saying he is underrated.
I am not sure Wiseman is overrated though. He is dominating and destroying this season.

Wiseman isn’t overrated. I’ve seen him three times already this year and he is special. Now does he need a few more low post moves with the one dominating move he does have? Yes. And he needs to improve his outside shot. But both of those things Penny and Miller and Sam Mitchell will sure up for him.
He is special because he runs the floor like a deer and jumps out of the gym. His wingspan is ridiculously silly long. He gobbles balls up with one hand. Is he as good as he will be? No. But he will be overwhelming at some point, probably sooner than later.

When you go watch Wiseman in person, you are guaranteed to see him do some things that will make you rise up out of your seat or at least say WOW.

Malcolm himself said he doesnt want to be in college more than 2 years. If hes that hungry to get to the nba and keeps developing a work ethic to get there sooner than later...look out!

His gut apparently because other than highlights he’s never seen him play.
Obviously, being the #1 player in the class means he can’t be underrated, he can only be accurately rated or overrated. I doubt very seriously anyone on this message board has enough knowledge to know either way, especially anyone who’s never seen him in person.

Projections are always fun - who's a better college player in 4 years - Dandridge or Anthony Douglas?

If dandridge is here all 4 years he will be top 5 rebounder in school history.

Wow that’s a a bold statement and I hope you’re right. Would be joining the likes of Keith Lee, Joey Dorsey, Ronnie Robinson, and Kelly Wise

Ding, Ding, Ding we have a winner.
I haven't seen enough of any of the other players to even make a comparison...Same with Dandridge. The class ratings are all relative to other players that is why I let the experts be experts because they have seen most of the guys.

I've seen him play and honestly I watch him more than wiseman. Hes a double double machine.
He finds a man to block out. Has a knack for how the ball will come off the rim. Good hands and steady feet.
That's a skillset that easily is carried to the next level.

I ask this question for those that can remember both...who would you consider more effective.....Marvin Alexander or Anthony Douglas?
I've only seen Dandridge in AAU..don't think he has the offensive skills of either but guessing he's more of a Derrick Phillips type as a college player.

If I can remember marvin was a more athletic type whereas Douglas was a bruiser. Similar to what dandridge is. Hes a typical paint rebounder put back kind of scorer who can pass out to the open man. I can see dandridge averaging 10 and 10 his freshman year next to wiseman with those numbers going up sophomore.
