David Jenkins Made 8 Threes and Had The Third Most Points on His Team
South Dakota State led 90-33 at halftime and won 139-72 hosting Savannah State. It was the biggest margin of victory by a mid-major over a Division I team since Louisiana Tech beat Longwood 126-52 on January 4, 2014. David Jenkins made 8 of 11 threes and scored 28, which was the third most on South Dakota State. Mike Daum, who is above 2,500 and could become the ninth player to score 3,000, had 37 points and 17 rebounds. Skyler Flatten scored 29 and made 6 of 7 threes. Tevin King almost had a triple-double, but a triple-double wouldn't have been enough for people to talk about him. He had 10 points, 9 rebounds, 13 assists, and 0 turnovers. Owen King had 9 points from 3 threes without missing any kind of shot and 6 assists. Alou Dillon made 4 of 5 field goals and scored 8. Savannah State made 12 of 52 threes.
