The single season record for shooting percentage is 65%, set by Ryan Moss in 1998.

Kris Bankston currently is at 83.6% (46 of 55). The Little Rock Record Book requires 90 made FGs to qualify. Kris currently has 46, so he is just over halfway there. Assuming he attempts the same number of shots in the second half, he can shoot about a mere 47% in the second half and still set the record. Assuming he stays healthy.

As of this morning he still leads the nation in FG% by a full 6 percentage points over Tacko Fall of UCF.
