RE: Going to be an ugly two years..
At 11:55, this sums up the Democratic/Progressive mantra for just about everything:

Schumer: 'When the President brags that he won in North Dakota and Indiana, he is in real trouble'.

The fundamental disdain for 'flyover country' just oozes from these douches.

Those were two states that Republicans flipped in the Senate.

Those were also two states where Trump won big in 2016. Indiana was +19, and North Dakota was +36.

It's not "disdain for flyover country".... Schumer's trying to make the point that the President is bragging that the GOP flipped a couple seats in states where Trump has broad support. It would be like democrats bragging that won in Maryland...

Do you think we folks in "flyover country" will be more apt to believe Upchuck's "point" or the fact that the progressive left HATES us and what we stand for?

The left doesnt need flyover country. They need to maintain run up the margins in Philly (PA), Detroit (MI), and Milwaukee (WI). They know this and that is why they show no interest in flyover country

I think its hilarious.

I liked the point about transparency.

It's kind of sad that Chuck thinks so little of the states and people of North Dakota and Indiana. That typifies the stance many Democrats and liberals have about the lesser masses.

Sure it is..... I guess Florida doesnt count worth **** to the analysis, does it? Trump won Florida by a decently healthy margin (120k votes or so), yet Schumer fails to include that flip. Funny how that happens.

WTF are you talking about?

Trump won Florida by 49.02% to 47.82%. 1.2% isn't a healthy margin.

Bet neither of these two ‘coasters’ have ever been within 35,000 feet of either state.

I'd make that $42B next year contingent on $5B for the wall.

120 thousand votes is a pretty good margin, sparky. Enough where it was called only an hour (less with some networks) after the polls there closed.

And back to the original topic, funny that Chucky Schumer failed to mention that fing flip, right? Nope, zero 'flyover' disdain with that grouping he made..... Dont *you* find it odd that he left Florida out of his snide ass comments? Or does that completely escape you?

Since the last major overhaul of the U.S. immigration system in 1986, the federal government has spent an estimated $263 billion on immigration enforcement.

Sure, 120k votes is a lot for a state like North Dakota where only a total of 344,000 votes were cast. But Florida is a very heavily populated state where over 9 million votes were cast.

So let me get this straight... You're lumping Florida (+1.2%), with Indiana (+19), and North Dakota (+36)?

Seriously?

I don't find it odd that he left Florida out of that grouping because it was a tightly contested race. Again... 1.2% compared to 19%.

Trump smoked (or should I say smocked) Clinton in North Dakota and Indiana. Those were two Senate seats the GOP should have easily won in the midterms. That was not the case in Florida, hence why it was left out.

How is it that hard to understand?
