Yea I don’t take them seriously. Whoever picked these has nearly every SEC team winning outside of LSU. SEC has sucked in bowl games the last few years and is highly overrated. The bowl records speak for themselves. Schedule cupcake teams non conference and then ride that reputation of the “best conference” into the rankings.

How has the SEC done against the occasional good team OOC in the regular season? Have you looked at that? Just wondering.

You will see more and more players sit out bowl games if they are expected to be drafted high.

For the MAC’s sake, I hope the conference does better than they predict...Ohio is the only projected winner.

RE: ESPN Confidence Pics
Hard to argue with that considering our historically terrible performance in bowl games.

Well Texas A&M lost to Clemson, but the other SEC schools don’t schedule any traditional good power 5 teams. LSU did beat Miami. The point I’m making is that they don’t do well in bowl season because they actually have to play good teams from other conferences. The SEC is just overrated. Last year the big ten went 7-1 in bowls while the SEC went 4-5. In 2016 the SEC went 6-7, while the ACC went 9-3. So SEC under .500 record, yet always hyped how amazing of a conference it is. Look at Alabama.....they never play a non-conference team worth a damn on the road. It always has to be at home or somewhere neutral near Bama. Then schedule Chattanooga and Mercer. They ride this reputation to the top 25 polls. Half those teams shouldn’t even be in there.

Yea I noticed that some time ago. I think Arlington Texas is the farthest they've been in about a decade. So, they really don't leave the Southeast. Pretty weak if you ask me.
