I don't think any MAC schools are interested in the AAC at this point.
1) Travel. AAC schools spend about 4 million more in travel than the MAC.
2) Travel time. Long time out of class for athletes.
3) Salaries. AAC schools pay average P5 level salaries.
4) Facilities. Moving to the AAC would require a greater investment.
I don't think there will be a lot of takers for AAC open slots unless its like ODU where they are on the edge of the footprint anyways or Rice where they fit the academic profile better there.
There is also a possibility of a counter raid. What if the AAC lost UC and UCF? Would UConn want to move to Big East at that point? What about the MAC trying to offer UConn FB only with a limited amount of basketball games?
UConn FB might benefit from a drop in competitive level. They could get away with paying 600k for their head coach and save some money while they are at it. MAC could give them a full cut of football money while they double dip in basketball. MAC TV deal could also be renegotiated upwards.

That'd free up the AAC for two teams. Who would they take to re-fill? Geography plays a role when it comes to G5 (not much for P5)...
1) Nobody out of the MW would go.
2) SunB: Appalachian State (WV), Troy (AL), Arkansas State (AR), Georgia Southern (GA)
3) MAC: Ohio (OH), Miami-OH (OH), Northern Illinois (IL), Toledo (OH), Western Michigan (MI)
4) CUSA: Middle-Tennessee (TN), Marshall (WV), UAB (AL), LA-Tech (LA), Southern Miss (MS)
5) Army (Penn)
Army is in New York. If the AAC only lost 2 schools, I imagine they'd stand pat at 10.
Also App State is in North Carolina

Large and growing residential student populations
Large media markets
Football successes for both programs
Opportunity to have 4 programs in Florida
You could format into pods with a Florida school in each pod to increase each school's exposure in the sunshine state. Every school in the conference would be guaranteed an annual road trip to Florida--be it their FL divisional opponent or the FL school in the pod that makes up their division that year:
Pod 1: FSU, Clemson, WF, NC St
Pod 2: Miami, GT, UNC, Duke
Pod 3: USF, VT, UVA, L'ville
Pod 4: UCF, Pitt, BC, Cuse
Rotate the pods into divisions like the 1996-1998 WAC did. With the 8th conference game play any traditional rival not in your pod that year. Examples include:
Miami-FSU
GT-Clemson
UCF-USF
UVA-UNC
Duke-WF
UNC-NC St
If there's an opponent that doesn't appear in the rotation that you'd like to play you can always schedule OOC.

RE: A case for the ACC adding UCF and USF
The ACC was founded in 1953 with the following 8 schools:
Clemson
Duke
Maryland
North Carolina
North Carolina State
South Carolina
Virginia
Wake Forest
I don't know that there was ever a more geographically perfect conference outside of the former Southwest Conference. In the era of mega-conferences, big media rights money, this is a thing of the past. It's still hard to believe Maryland is in the B1G.

RE: A case for the ACC adding UCF and USF
There would only be one team added to the ACC, unless ND drops their connection with the ACC. Saw what has happened to UM,FSU, VT, UL, and others joining the ACC and would hope UCF would have other options. Not saying I would not understand if UCF joined, but hope there are other options.
