Thanks. You guys are killing it on the recruiting trail. You have a lot of good players coming in the next 1-2 years

UTSA is always getting highly rated players.
As an MT fan (despite our frustrations with Stock) He must be the best coach in the league because we never have a highly rated class yet seem to win more than most over time.

Congrats on the commitment. I wouldn't focus on the present rankings too much right now. Many schools still don't have anything near their full class. I think FIU, Marshall, La Tech, and FAU will move up quite a bit after signing day.

Ah, Recruiting. In a twist on the words of Robert Duvall in Apocalypse Now: "I love the smell of recruiting expectations in the morning!" In the 20 years that we have been in FBS, I think we may have gotten one 4 Star (transferred from Ole Miss) and half a dozen 3 Stars (Brent Stockstill, maybe Bennie Cunningham & Eric Walden, couple of others) . Virtually everybody else is 2 Stars or NR for the Raiders. And, yet MT keeps chugging along like the Overachievers we are, year after year.

Looks like a good addition for UTSA. Congratulations. The more programs that haul in better talent, the better off this conference will be.

RE: UTSA Lands APB High 3Star
I think with the new signing rules, having guys commit early is better or closer to the end of their HS career is good. So when you see the Senior in his final year he usually is going to be committed. At least that's how I interpreted it. Since recruiting begins the Junior year of HS and they get 4 official visits. When it says committted it's usually 90-100%

clt points out that Charlotte leads in MBB recruiting.
Also, this next signing day should be interesting for Charlotte FB. Lots of buzz around our new hire and he may flip recruits.
