LOL. You boys got your panties in a wad about this? He's click baiting you.
Sorry that pee6 thing didn't work out for UCF. I still think they deserved the shot.

Briles would owe 25 percent of his remaining base salary if he resigns to accept a position as a play-calling offensive coordinator after the final regular season game or league title game. A similar move to a Power Five conference school prior to those dates would be at the discretion of UH, but not to exceed 50 percent of the remaining base salary.
Thats it!?!? Are you ill?

The P6 Campaign appears to be working - keep it up!
The American has...
...more New Year's Six Access Bowls (60% of the total; 3X more than 2nd place)
...more national TV exposure (12 more games than closest G4)
...more P5 home games (2 more than closest G4)

And the TV ratings are clearly better. Looking forward to the AAC go undefeated in the upcoming bowl games.

That's the one thing the AAC has not done well... your teams need to STOP LOSING TO G4 TEAMS IN BOWLS! Every year the AAC wins a few against the P5 only to lose all that potential good rep by losing to a bunch of G4s... STOP DOING THAT!

What these kinds of articles never say is---"and do what?". This is the same 5 non-power conferences that had no voice in the room when the CFP was planned and have basically no voice in the room on how its run.
So---what is this G5--if fully energized and rejoined at the hip with the AAC---going to do exactly? Create their own playoff? Nope--no thank you. Not interested. Other than that---whats the big move the combined miracle working power of the G5 going to accomplish that the AAC cant get on its own?
The answer is nothing. The rest of the G4 doesnt want us to stop the P6 campaign becasue we can do more as a group. They know thats a joke. No, they want the AAC to stop the P6 campaign because they fear the AAC might actually get enough TV money, bowl access, and exposure to be generally publicly perceived to be on another level from the other non-autonomous conferences.

The fact this writer wrote an article about the P6 campaign is proof it has worked and should continue.
Marketing 101. Well played Aresco and AAC. Keep it up

The entire G5 should threaten/move to all go to the FCS level since we are basically in limbo/purgatory in football and playing for nothing. It’s one long exhibition season. At least at FCS there is a 24 team playoff. The current FCS schools would all get pushed down. Also, refuse to schedule any football games against P5 schools.
Then in men’s basketball, refuse to schedule any P5 schools, if they play you in the tourney so be it.
In all Olympic sports refuse to schedule P5 schools and any associate P5 members in your conference, you are out. So in the AAC, UF and Vandy would have to find some other place for your women’s lacrosse teams.
That scheduling threat and potential isolation may cause the P5 to rethink their current system. If not, interest in the FCS 24 team playoff would grow and you would be playing for something.
The problem is there are too many G5 schools that need the payouts from P5 schools for playing OOC games. It sounds great, but in reality it just doesn't work.

Time to drop it if the AAC makes less than 8 Mill/team on the next contract/contracts.
