Lot of saltiness is this thread. Usually conference mates are glad when another school are making strides to improve themselves. But hey thats cool. Its only going to get worse when we are back.

Any time ECU is good in something the hate is real (edit:not that we're good at anything but baseball now), not sure why but I guess people just find our enthusiasm on message boards tough to deal with.

Right now we've got the most successful bunch of coaches in the three sports as we've ever had.

Baseball - Cliff Godwin 154-91-1: 3 Regionals and 1 Super

BBall - Joe Dooley: 177-114: 2 NCAA's, 2 NIT's and one CIT

Fball - Mike Houston- 80-25: 7 FCS playoff berths, 1 Natl Champ and 1 Runner Up

I smell more hate coming in the next couple years.

There's a lot of trash talking going on from sports programs that are living off their state's teets. We get $20m in aid once, and a bunch of teams that need $20m per year start throwing shade.

its the usual trolls who remember what it was like when EZU was good and Memphis was 2-10 averaging 4K fans a game. Don't pay attention. Everyone should be happy and hoping EZU can get back to 50K+ per game. Its good for everyone. 07-coffee3

I appreciate the kind words from our U_F brothers. 04-cheers

Chill ECU fans. I wasn’t being serious. Now there is a Memphis fan that hates you with a passion. Can’t remember his name though. I am sure you guys do though.

Hopefully we won't remember the Montgomery era in a year or so.

We have sucked. Sad to admit it. In just the last 5 seasons I believe Houston is the only program to have all winning seasons. Everyone has had crappy year(s) as well. So quick to forget.

New AD said tonight on Pirate Radio that about $13 million will go to pay off debt and projected debt over the next couple of years. But Hey!.......

I'm assuming that Mo wasn't fired after 2017 because of his buy out? Side note: Compher should never get another AD job.

How long have you been around? If anything, the success at Memphis is likely an aberration. A return to travesty will soon be coming your way as a regression to the mean almost always occurs.
