Poverty brought about by apathy and a lack of responsibility isn't the same thing as being downtrodden toward the beginning of the Roman Empire, but even if it had been, it's easy to pontificate on what's charitable when you're pension isn't the one being raised to finance these altruistic endeavors... Which was my point.. You're all very generous with other peoples things.

At any rate, I don't think donating to the university is required to be a fan. A lot of people have other expenses and ask8ng for tithe from those just getting their legs under them financially isn't realistic. That's what I was getting at previously with Doss's comment, who I'm certain is looking at this and cackling... I know there is a petty part of me that would be.
