One might think they are deserving of a top 25 spot.

If they'd won against Tennessee, I think they would be ranked. Man, should have had that game.

I believe had we been an SEC school under the same scenario we would have been ranked the week after.

If we were an SEC school we would have been ranked before the season based on who was returning.

If we wouldn't have let #10 Tennessee off the hook in the Bahamas...

True but fair is fair. Judge the team not the league. If Tennessee had the exact same record against the exact same teams and they lost to UAB in OT they would be top 25. Case closed.

For what it's worth, UAB has 4 points in the most recent Top 25 Coaches Poll.

No argument from me, but golden opportunity missed...

As AB has emphasized, UAB has to do extra stuff to get top 25 whereas the SEC teams are given the benefit of the doubt.

And today they totally destroy McNeese State.

They are away from home until December 30th but probably will not lose another game before then.

December 30th they play UAH at 2 pm.

I haven't attended a women's game in about 2 years but was thinking about going to that one.

Might have gone today had Army / Navy not been on.

Any chance we can stir things up and maybe see about getting a decent crowd there for that game?

They're playing at Alabama State on Sunday, December 16th. For those driving to Boca, this would be a good stop along the way.

How much longer will ESPN get away with its gender discrimination in "bottom line" reporting NCAAW scores by only reporting those in the Top 25 while not reporting separately the other games like they do for NCAAM? I'm sure the UAB Lady Blazers would like to see their scores posted nationally just like the MBB team.

As usual you don’t know what you are talking about.
ESPN posts all D1 women scores.

It has been a while since I had any type subscription to ESPN via satellite or cable however when I want to browse for football scores I go to their website & look at them online.

The scrolling banners of scores doesn't do anything for me anymore.

It must suck to look at everything in the world through 01-rivals colored glasses. I'd hate to be able to point out all the "triggers" in every single insignificant matter.

The Alabama State coach is a voter in the Coach's Poll. Maybe their coach will place the Blazers in the rankings after playing them (if she isn't already giving UAB votes).
