If it turns out that Hollis is healthy but this guy starts, I wonder if Hollis looks at a change of position to utilize his obvious physical gifts.

Quite a FBS offer list, including Michigan, Michigan St, Purdue, Iowa, Nebraska, Ole Miss.

A mature QB who enjoyed 3 yrs of elite coaching, a great player with two seasons as starter under his belt at W&M, and a very promising TFr is a nice problem to have.
And, we still haven't seen what Hiller or Hart can do.

Is it me or do things start to look really bright in our future. Not knocking any previous guys but when was the last time our QB room had 2 QBs with over 20 Div 1 offers a piece? Not to mention a very talented returning starter and Hart in his second year. Will be a pretty strong QB room. I expect these guys will work their tails off and push each other. I for one am very excited about where the offense is headed.
Any idea when our freshman arrive or at least will be added to the roster?

I'm always an alien optimist. Our QB crew seems very promising. I like the balance more than anything else. A pro-style vet with low mileage, a returning dual-threat starter who has done everything right, a TFr who is on fire, and a couple more hungry guys with a year under their belts.
I think our staff has done a tremendous job. I don't like losing guys like Smith and Wright, and "replacing" them is a heavy lift. Our staff is getting after it. We had a FBS transfer CB who was actually listed on our roster but is removed.
????s are mostly on defense, TE, WR, and kicking game. I guess we should include QB until we know who will start under center.

I don't see any questions at WR. Zach Burdick, Kane Everson and Cole Blackman are top notch returnees with good depth behind them. TE looks set with Anthony Mague, Lachlan Pitts and Ry Yates who excelled in the spring. CB is the only real question on defense.

Depth at ILB and DL is also a question mark on defense I’d say.

Everson missed the spring and Burdick was sidelined after game one. That's why I have a ? at WR. That's also why I have a ? at QB...our one proven guy may or may not be ready to go.
Mague & Yates looked great in the spring. Hope they keep that going.

I'm not too concerned with either area. DL has Bessant, Kiely, Fowler and Lynn as proven commodities with Kiely and Lynn capable of going at either DE or NT. Creed got quality time at DE in the spring and I still think Debuglio can be a factor. Confidence for me that Malone, Huyck and Sarantis will all be good. Two incoming freshmen who could contribute early in Dzidzienyo and Slavic. Big group who are all 270+.
ILB will be crowded with Watkins, Jones, Staib, Jarrell, Heckert, Osborne, and Washington. Jones and Jarrell can go outside as well. Zgombic and Babcock could also get in the mix.

RE: 2021 Football Recruiting
D-Line is hard to evaluate in a 3-4 scheme IMO. I feel like our starters plus Lynn are solid, if not very good. We really didn't get to see a lot of Crist in the spring season, but if he continues where he left off in 2019 we could see a pretty good pass rush from the edge. I thought that Osborne looked good too. With Staib, Jones, and Watkins our LBs look good. We'll see. I too am always an optimist.

On the outside, lanky, but fast Jennette could get some time.

Jennette looked promising but the guy who really stood out was John Pius. Tremendous quickness and will get better as he is coached up. and gets stronger.

Also, Lafayette grad QB, Cole Northrup, lists William and Mary '22 under his twitter description. Looks like we're loading up.
