Believe he leaned toward ASU because they had left the RB possibility open and had a lot of NFL experience on the staff, whereas, most others wanted him on defense, except Villanova who wanted him as a RB. Tech was,, also,, on his final 6 list when he originally committed to ASU. He decommitted on Nov. 21st, and some Tech fans thought he was coming their way. Possible he came our way because we stayed with the RB opportunity, but, also, a lot of NFL experience/connections. Missed part of his junior year due to injury, so, a strong example of Covid restrictions helping us. Welcome to the Tribe Family, Martin!

He appears to have the physical maturity to be ready day one. Very strong even for all that size with 455 bench, 600 squat and 650 deadlift.

Take a look at Lucas' measurables in the weight room on Hudl. This guy is already the size of Derrick Henry. 405 bench press. Good grief. Good vision running. Good technique tackler.

In the workout videos he looks like he catches the ball well too. Not sure that he has the vision like a Henry, but he certainly has the goods to be hard to take down.
