RE: Rick Stockstill CUSA coach of the year.
You win COY when you find a way to beat UAB. I get it.

Not sour grapes at all. Looks like the coaches agree with what I have been saying...

Nothing personal, but several coaches mention the recruiting advantages that UAB received. Those coaches knew it wasn’t a even playing field

37 seniors!!!!? They should have cracked the top 25. How did they lose to Coastal Carolina? That number can't be right. If so, we'll find out how good of a coach he really is next season. Hell, even I could coach 37 seniors to a conference championship.
Stockstill deserves the award. Most had MTSU behind Marshall and FAU in the East. He went for the big win against FAU. Balls. Give him credit.

Ask the coaches, they're the ones that voted. It was either gonna be Clark or Stock.
I think Butch Davis should have been considered as well. Everyone had FIU at the bottom going into this season. Orlando Sentinel had them ranked in 100's in the summer which I knew was a mistake. They said since FIU was losing a lot of players they would not have a good season. Well, they were one game from taking our spot. Butch Davis did a heck of a job this year.

It is right. During the 2 years they were dormant, they were allowed to get players and not lose any of their eligibility while waiting to play again. Well, there you go. You can stockpile but it will be front loaded. There will be a drop off because of it. However, Clark is a great coach. If he has a good year next year, a P5 will snatch him.

Yeah, he did a good job. He's a good coach. I hope he stays until he retires.
