Recruiting Update
All 13 current Central Michigan verbal commitments are expected to be on campus this weekend for a meet and greet with new head coach Jim McElwain.

Next weekend, CMU will focus on bringing undecided recruits to campus in hopes of solidifying the class before early signing period, which begins Dec. 19. Between high school signees and transfers, the Chippewas are going to have plenty of new faces in 2019.

As most of you know, this is a very fluid situation. Two current players (Sean Bunting and Xavier Crawford) have already declared for the NFL Draft. I'm told there will be others too, who are planning to take a grad transfer or declare for the draft.

All told, the roster is going to look much different when the team begins spring practice.

FIRE UP CHIPS! :)
