Well that was plan wasn't it? Redshirt sophomore learning the game still: Limiting turnovers and staying healthy. Then when the team needed him most he grew up big time. Didn't see that coming but glad I was there to see it. That place was jumping.

He plays really well for one quarter and now we are ready to anoint him the next great MAC QB!
I hope Childers does progress and become a force behind center. However, I have about 40 quarters of film that suggests he won't, and 1 quarter of film that suggests he will.
How do y'all feel about those odds?
I bet you wrote Harnish off too after being benched and playing terrible through his first 2 years.
Lots of people did, including myself. I remember walking the concourse at Kelly Shorts Stadium in 2009 because people were bitching so much about Harnish and I couldn't disagree with anything that was being said, but I still hate hearing that crap during the game (those of you who do nothing but complain, keep that in mind if you're ever near me at a game).
I went to a practice in August 2010 and some friends from the board asked me, "What did you see from the QBs?" My response was kind of a groan and I said, "Harnish is best and not by a little."
Then he went out and got all Vern Smith-y and I still have pictures of him on my phone in case I'm having a bad day and I need to look at #12.
That's is some serious man crush...
I don't fool around when I fall in love with a Huskie....
He's probably my favorite all-time, non-lineman division. Although if Martel Moore walked in right now, all bets would be off...
