When Satt hired Sexton in the offseason
It pretty much announced he was ready to move up. I think he really wanted the NC job but didn t get it. Sexton had Satt and also Brown at Troy being shopped everywhere. Brown still may move this year too

Good. Lundsford is next.

Had Georgia Tech released any names of people they are pursuing?

RE: When Satt hired Sexton in the offseason
UNC is going to regret hiring a guy that has no incentive to succeed rather than SS...

Learn how to spell his name at least.

Lots of lists have come out. None of them have LUNSFORD.

The interesting thing is that Neal Brown's name has gone quiet this past week. Not much chatter going on in the coaching carousel about him.

It was mentioned by Karl Benson that both him and Brown had a few conversations about Brown moving to a P5 job when/if Brown becomes interested. Benson gave him advice not to rush and take the first P5 jobs that come up. He told Brown to be patient and wait for the right fit to open up. Benson said he had seen a lot of coaches move on to bigger gigs that weren't the right fit for them, and it winds up not working out for that coach.

I hope that's what we're seeing out of Brown right now. I think his dream job, if it opens up for him, is obviously Kentucky.

Don't necessarily think he wanted the UNC-cheat job, but hiring Sexton was a game changer.

Pretty much spot on in regard to moving on up.
