Where: Annapolis, Maryland
When: Dec. 31, noon
Who: Cincinnati vs. Virginia Tech
Line: Cincinnati by 5
Why watch: It’s too early for New Year’s Eve drinking at noon — but it’s not too early for football.
Dash pick: Cincinnati 35, Virginia Tech 24. The Hokies gave up 31 or more points five straight times between Oct. 25 and Nov. 23, first time Virginia Tech has done such a thing since it went winless in 1950. So a Cincy offense that has been good but not great should be able to score. Meanwhile, the Bearcats fielded one of the nation’s best defenses.

Says who?
Pat Forde - Dash

I read several predictions regrettably many are picking us to be upset. Who did VT beat:

FSU - this is not the FSU that used to be.
Duke - another weak ACC
W&M - Mediocre FCS
NC - a horrible team they beat by 3
VA - A mediocre team they beat by 3
Marshall - There best win in a buy game

Losses:
ODU a weak 4-8 Sun Belt team
ND
GT BC Pitt Miami all 7-5

The Bowl Gift List is out:

Military Bowl Presented by Northrop Grumman (Cincinnati vs. Virginia Tech)
Dell Mobile Projector M318WL; $100 Amex Gift Card; ISlides

The Projector specs says it has 7GBs memory.
It can be powered by a 2 lb battery.
You may need a dongle.
The specs list a Throw Distance; it weighs 0.8 lb.
I guess you can toss it 75 feet -- but who would want to throw it that far?

Other Bowls just list a generic "gift suite".
The Cats have a nice Christmas present.

Is that throw distance with or without the 2lb battery attached?
