RE: Dallas bowl
This is how you kill a bowl game.
Dallas has taken issue with funding this bowl, and ESPN reduced their contribution. Last season, Utah and West Virginia bombed at the Cotton Bowl. Boise and Boston College is a recipe for another badly attended game. I think it is safe to refer to the First Responders bowl, as the the Life Support Bowl. And, I predict this year's match-up will produce an attendance of less then 20,000, and I also expect ESPN to move this bowl to a new city in the near future.
Even being the day after Christmas, North Texas only would have delivered 30,000 for this bowl, as we have done in the past. Oh well, UNT is an emerging program, and I'm happy the Mean Green will have an opportunity to beat #23 Utah State in the New Mexico Bowl.

RE: Dallas bowl
Move the game to Texas St in San Marcos. Right size it stadium wise. Better weather and two great cities to visit (Austin and San Antonio)
