Once again, Colley Matrix gets all four playoff teams right
It happened in 2014, 2015, 2016 and now 2018.

Clearly, Colley Matrix and the Playoff Committee value similar things.

Colley never changes its approach. It had UCF #2 after the regular season last year. Clearly, the Playoff Committee changed the criteria last year to gerrymander UCF.

Wow I did not know that. That’s actually pretty incredible.

I posted in another thread that UCF got shafted worse last year than this year, and that seems to back it up.

Last year, 33 of the Composite Massey's 119 polls had UCF in the Top 4. Several had UCF #1.

This year at current, only 4 of 72 do. In all four, UCF is 4th.

RE: Once again, Colley Matrix gets all four playoff teams right
In fairness, UCF was the only undefeated team left standing, especially after the NY6 bowls. This year, however, there are three other undefeated teams ahead of them: Alabama, Clemson, and Notre Dame. In a perfect world, UCF would be in with them. Unfortunately, we know the system is heavily biased against us.

Just go back out there and kick LSU's butt, Knights! (And my wife has family on her dad's side from Louisiana who are LSU fans. KICK THEIR BUTTS!)

RE: Once again, Colley Matrix gets all four playoff teams right
I agree that last year's UCF team got shafted worse than this year's team, but that shafting did lead to a credible national championship (as credible as several of Alabama's claimed titles, as I never tire of pointing out.)

This year...I'm no mathematician but I don't think they are going to have the juice to be number one at the end in any major selector poll/ranking. Even if they beat LSU one of the other three undefeateds will have the edge. Maybe if Oklahoma wins the CFP one of the computers will have UCF first? But I don't like Oklahoma's chances, or anyone's chances who isn't Alabama or Clemson.

Ucf needs to win, and have OLK win the NIT.

UCF, if they win their bowl game can hang another National Champ banner.
How many wins in a row is enough? Really? 52?
