I've heard of this Uber thing. Maybe you can uber to there. Problem is that Friday mid-day thing. It's mostly for retirees and silver spooners I guess.

I'm not a beach guy, can't imagine what about the place attracts and even if it were on some reasonable day, couldn't find a way to make it all happen for under $1000, meaning there best be something interesting to do while I'm waiting for the game.

Someone asked, is it just about the money? Well yes. If something like this is going to set a program back economically. If not, all things even a wash, nice trip for the team.

Nassau is really a beach and ocean tourist destination, not really known for its culture heritage or even a bar party atmosphere. In fact there are some concerns over crime in many areas. If you like resorts and the beach or snorkeling or deep sea fishing it has plenty of those, but really not much else and less to see and offer than most other Caribbean islands. So if you are non into sun, surf and the beach, its not the ideal destination for much else.
