I think we need to to give Pera the same deal we are giving Bloomgren - three years to show us something with the first year written off due to a bare cupboard.

In the Massey Composite Rankings , Rice is at number 307.

Also, Massey lists Rice as favored to win just 2 more games (prior to the flex games) ---> St. Edward's and Omaha.

If it translates into tangible progress and wins, sure. Otherwise recruiting rankings are like winning TOP in football - meaningless.

I am, however, hopeful that the better recruiting leads to better play as the season goes on.
