I think The University of Memphis has lost out on a lot of potential over the last 2 or 3 decades, by not investing in themselves, and building an on campus stadium.

I wouldn't mind putting them back on the schedule, maybe beating them in a new OCS would be even more fun, but I'm not all that concerned with playing them and even less so with their stadium.

I was in the Boro Saturday and I am super pissed about both the attendance and the fact that we could not stick it in the end zone at least on one of those 4 FG drives. And, I'm devastated by our 12 man ineptitude at the end. But, I'll be a Blue Raider till I die and we will always be better than Memphis, better than UTC, and since UT refuses to play us in Football more than once every 30 years, the Big Orange can Kiss My Posterior!!! And as for the rest of you naysayers, Middle Tennessee is still the 2018 Eastern Division Champs of CUSA and you are not. And, Congrats to UAB.

Hogwash, and you know it. Memphis football is historically nothing to brag about, but since 2014, an amazing transformation has occurred there. If you can't acknowledge that, then it shows you do harbor some ill will or jealousy to how they've turned things around there. They would be middle of the pack in recruiting in most P5 conferences, the way they're getting guys to campus these days. To not acknowledge that, is purely you seeing what you want to see. Nothing more, nothing less.

I'm not a bandwagon fan. I've been going to Memphis football games since I was a kid. Had season tickets to UT football since I was a kid. UT is no. 1 in my books, but I support the Tigers almost as much. Always have, always will. I don't know how that makes me a bandwagon fan. But you MTSU people sure are butt hurt over facts this morning.

As to the highlighted bold part of your statement. you might have the all time record vs Memphis in football, but in no way is your football program close to Memphis' currently, or at anytime since Memphis went FBS in the late 1950s. They've collected wins against programs that MTSU would be lucky to just get to play in a payout game. If you can't realize that, then there's no helping you.

UAB had ok attendance at this game ...maybe 3k but thats nothing to brag about when for most UAB fans this was a 2 to 2.5 hour drive. Hell UAB fans could have ate a late breakfast at home, drove to the game and been home for Dinner. Dont get any easier than that for a road championship game
