We'll find out tomorrow... after ESPN milks the playoff teams announcement for four hours.

One of the Florida bowls...

During the game they showed Independence Bowl vs Miami as a projection. Think we would have a good turnout for that one. Driving distance big name..

I wouldn’t surprised if we play an SEC team in the independence bowl, I think the ACC won’t have enough teams to make the quota

It's my understanding that the CUSA Champ gets to choose their bowl destination outright?

Sort of. The only hard and fast rule is that CUSA can do what it feels is best for the conference

Like the Conference office has shown the ability to manage to ever do what's best for the conference.

Does Brian Mackin still work for C-USA? If so, any sighting of him today?

RE: CHAMPS!
Projections are just that -- guesses based on luck and performance. We don't even know who the Top 4 will be yet. Sunday's selection show will get here soon enough for UAB.

I am just delighted to win this championship only two seasons after "The Return". We should be able to profit in recruiting by this achievement. A lot more prospects will know our name and it will be a positive label. Perhaps some will call us to express interest.

He was awkwardly acknowledging fans after we stormed the field postgame.

Brian was in Murfreesboro on Saturday. He was also at the Texas A&M game.

RE: CHAMPS!
Conference champs and got Clark a new contract with a big raise all in a two day stretch. Good times for UAB football.

Being on the field celebrating a conference championship almost exactly 4 years from the shutdown was surreal. It's time for an ESPN 30 for 30 or even a Hollywood feature film.

I wonder how long Mackin and Garrison's NDAs run. We'll never know what really happened in detail until they can talk.

Hey guys. I'm not afraid to admit to tearing up when coach Clarke's wife hugged him at mid field after the championship was secured. Congrats to UAB. You guys have had a great season.

I got a chance to catch him, give him a thumbs up and he was smiling. Glad he was there...I loves that he was.

RE: CHAMPS!
The tubby CSC Event Security Staff man in front of us was overwhelmed. He tried to slow a few folks down and his tubby little arm tackles were easily defeated by geeks, robust women, and completely unathletic folk that had great difficulty negotiating climbing between the bleacher railing. I was unintentional comedy at it's finest. I wish I'd been videoing the on goings.
