Well that was completely unexpected. Our defense got Josh Corcoran back and then we unleashed on the Buffalo offense.

That was a fun game! I feel for the Bulls but they had a great season. And I enjoy Carey sticking it to his haters.

Man, that was an absolute crusher. Can’t believe how ice cold the Bulls offense went and the D just gave up huge plays. Ugh. At least the clubs provided the country with a fun MAC comeback game.

Thanks MU and Bull. Not sure we deserved that one, it's not that we are really good, but we are hard to beat. It's a PIA playing the Huskies, it's hard and that's our strength. MAC was very even this year, one of 5 teams could have won it.

It was a different Huskie defense with Cocoran back from the first half suspension.

I feel for you guys though. I was at the crushing Bowling Green and Miami O loss in Detroit and it hurts.

If you guys play like you did the first half you will roll your bowl opponent.

This was only his 2nd postseason win in 9 tries and we won by one point and needed an epic comeback. Let's see if he can win his first ever bowl game.

Seems like upsets happen somewhat frequently in the MACC since its inception.

By this point in the season there is plenty of game film on the opponent which helps to understand how the other team responds in a situation.

If those situations can be mitigated, you've got a chance factoring in the team you have must have enough weapons to have made it to the MACC.

This was a very competitive game - I am ecstatic that Huskies were able to pull out the win.

He's not, until a couple months ago everyone was operating under the knowledge that this was Carey's last year on his contract. Unbeknownst to NIU fans and the public media, our AD secretly extended him for four years in December 2017. It didn't become public knowledge until the NIU student newspaper received it from a FOIA request.

Only way he's going anywhere is if some P5 hires him.

OMG. I seriously did not know NIU won until now. I stopped watching it early 2nd half when Buffalo got that TD. It seemed to be a Stomp. Holy cow. NIU had an offense 2nd half!
