Maybe we need to take our UND sweep with a grain of salt?

They show 9 penalties called at 8:39 of the 2nd period, must have been a donnybrook.

A sweep over any NCHC team on the road is a huge accomplishment.

Let’s not debate that Nodak isn’t a good team just because Duluth is soundly beating them.

If we're now factoring in quality of opponent into our analysis and discussion, I'd like to revisit the Denver thread when we lost in OT @ Denver. That prompted fire Murray talk for some reason.

Yeah, there are no Alaska-Anchorage's or Alabama-Huntsville's in this league.

Took Saint Cloud to OT shootouts both nights

I love this conference, best conference in all of college hockey. Though I miss the old CCHA days, NCHC is just so much better talent wise

When this bronco team plays a full team game, they can beat anyone in the country.

Am anxious to see if we can keep the ball rolling next weekend vs the defending national champs Duluth who for some reason we have more trouble beating them at Lawson more than we do at Amisol arena...let’s fix that next weekend!

I'll take a split next weekend. It seems like the past few years against the top NCHC teams @ Lawson, they win on Friday and then get smoked on Saturday. I know this because I've been at Denver & Duluth games for the Saturday smoking. Maybe, I'll try to go to the Friday game. Or just stay home and not jinx 'em.

This isn't the North Dakota team of old, but they're still solid. Even in a down-year you know they can still beat anyone. It's still early in the season and could easily see them winning the NCHC. They'd be a favorite in most of the other Conferences.

Quite a few of these NCHC contenders will start out meh through to the new year and then become nightmares to face in March.

We started out like crap this season and I offered criticism. I retract NONE of my comments, they were all right on at that time and with those results.

After 6 seasons it's not too much to expect some accountability and holding Murray accountable is absolutely correct.

That said, I'm delighted with our performance the last two series. I'm a Bronco fan and I want to see us win.

If you're surprised that after 6 seasons and an atrocious start to this season somebody suggested we need a change at the top, what are YOUR expectations? I don't want to see another decade go down the tubes like we did with Jim Culhane.

Coach Murray has had enough time to introduce his changes to the program and recruit his players. I want and expect to see more conference wins this season, hopefully many more. Anything less than that is rubbish.
