We need turnovers and not have turnovers.

NIU 21
Buffalo 17

I'm rooting for you and have saved a special six-pack to watch the game.

If you were playing Toledo, I would say you win. But I have little confidence in NIU when it comes to MACC or bowl games. NIU's record against teams with winning records doesn't seem very good to me over the years under this coach.

If an NIU fan said that on this board he'd get labelled as negative, pessimistic and having unrealistic expectations.

And that fan would have to pull out youth sport trophies to prove they played a sport growing up to validate their opinion

Unfortunately I feel we’re gojng to continue the slide and lose 10-24. However if somehow they’ve turned it around I see some scoring NIU winning 31-20.

If Childers and the receivers are nice and warm maybe we'll have a good game.

Amazing that an extra point would do in the Bulls again vs the Huskies.

RE: NIU-Buffalo MACC Predictions
Dan Orvalasky said the Huskies adjusted their offense by implementing double moves since Buffalo had us so well scouted. They jumped every route they knew we were going to run. We were lucky Childers only had one interception. We pumped the flat route that Brown usually runs and ran the wheel for the winning TD. Nice adjustment. Tears also faked the out and ran deep for his long TD. I wish the coaches could make those types of adjustments more often. They absolutely laid an egg against Miami Ohio and WMU but they were brilliant yesterday...

That was a really good announcing team last night. Orvalasky reminded me of the college equivalent of Tony Romo. Not real smooth, but decent content.

After Miami Ohio and WMU games it was hard to see them winning another game - in retrospect these games were important for team and coaches to learn how to overcome the impact of the officiating!
