There are no players from Cleveland on the CSU roster. There are 2 from Serbia, 1 from Switzerland and 1 from Quebec. Maybe that's not so odd as there are no players from Toledo on the Rockets roster either but Cleveland has always been a hotbed for basketball talent.

Against North Alabama we had some stretches of not great play...even more minutes of that again today. And yet we did get the W. I’m hoping we locals eventually get to see the Rockets play more like they did down in Florida, though.

Willie Jackson with another double-double; 16 points and 11 rebounds. After the last game coach K called him an elite rebounder. Darrington has also been a difference maker this year. He is a consistent scorer off the bench.

Willie was average last year, but this year he has transformed his game and is a really good MAC small forward. Kid has some ups.

Very effective rebounder!

This could have been a blowout if they shoot. Missed too many easy shots from everywhere on the floor. But...

Sanford found a way to score while shooting 1 for 8 from 3 if I heard the post game right. Luke has improved, had a nice game. He was good inside and they didn't feed him the ball enough, IMO. Darrington was key off the bench, especially in the first half. Willie Jackson is proving to be an contributor on both ends of the floor. 5 offensive boards with a double double, and Navi with his amazing shooting. The rest had their moments. Edu is ok on D, but ugly on the O. The radio guys had 3 candidates for player of the game. Balance, 9 deep; that's a good thing.

And I hate to go here; defense won this game. They had lapses no doubt, but overall, very impressive. They executed when they needed to, and still scored 80 points while throwing up enough bricks to build a house.

Good win against a team I'm not sure I want to play next year. Get ready for Wednesday guys.

It was very nice to see that they do not need to rely on their three point shooting to win. As Coach K said after the game, "great grind it out win!"
