Miserable effort. Rockets had no one executing on offense other than McIntryre and Beacham during the few minutes she gets to play. Defensive breakdowns led to too many easy baskets for Akron, especially in the second half. And perimeter defense against the 3 pointer was nothing like it was against Central. And by the time they got a shot off in overtime the game was already decided. This outcome completely cancels out the win against Central Michigan.

Yeah, it really hurts to claw out that win against Central and then give it right back. I hope that I'm wrong, but right now it's hard to see this Rockets team fighting for a high finish in the conference. Looks more like somewhere near the middle of the pack, with a short trip to Cleveland followed by an NIT invite. Could be worse, I know, but it feels very unsatisfying, especially with three senior starters.
