I'll always cherish the years I was there.

Didn't finish post with "Go Dewks," clearly an imposter.

RE: Houston to ECU?
I have a group of good kids, and I expect them to play at a high level next year for ECU, but I won't forget JMU.

Got a notification from LinkedIn that Bryan Schor is now an offensive GA at ECU. Good for him! Probably a great opportunity

Bryan is a fine young man, and I'm excited to add him to our staff.

Bryan definitely knows how the game is played. I talked to him a bit in Frisco after the game and asked him what he thought of the last play. With a straight face, he defended the call to pass instead of run. I stared at him like he had a third eyeball in the middle of his forehead. He just smiled. Company man. Loyal. A lot of good in that.

FWIW former JMU HC who got I-A HC jobs:
Rip Scherer: 22-44 Memphis 6 seasons.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rip_Scherer
Withers 7-28 Texas St 3 seasons.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Everett_Withers#Texas
Houston 7-14 ECU 2 seasons so far.

Total among the 3 coaches: 36-86

Right now Scherer and Houston with .333 winning percentages are tied as the most successful, Withers was .200

I know. Too funny. Yet, a one-season, fired DC moves down, yet finds himself a multi-millionaire HC of an NFL team in just a few years. Gotta' love it!
