If felt like he missed a lot of critical kicks this year. He didn't seem to be at his best year. I am pretty sure he missed a really short kick against NIU early that was a big momentum killer when we were playing well and still in the game. Can't do that in big games, which obviously that game was and proved to be the game that kept us out of playing in the MACC.

I have to agree that this just didn't seem like Vest's best year. 3rd team seemed a bit low to me, though--I would have gone 2nd team with him. He did set the "FGs made" record at UT, and this season wasn't as uneven as his Sophomore campaign, but there were still some missed kicks this season that were disappointing for such an experienced kicker. Looks like we'll be going with the true freshman out of North Carolina next season.

Koback got snubbed, his stats were better in the 8 MAC games than basically all RB's but Ouellette. Koback had one more RUSHING TD in 16 less attempts. Koback tied for second in the MAC for SCORING TD's.

I agree Koback definitely got snubbed. Didn't get that one. He was one of the best players in the MAC by the end of the year

Koback and DL Jamal Hines should have made the list. Hines was just a true freshman but played very well. He is going to be a great player for us.
