2018 NFL Rookie Quarterbacks Class
Going into the draft, I really liked Sam Darnold of all the pro prospects based on size, arm talent, athletic ability, NFL readiness, and upside potential. He seemed to check all the boxes from an overall sense. When the Browns selected Baker Mayfield I was not initially happy about it because I didn't think his size and "system" would translate well to the NFL. His intangible qualities and passion to win have also come to the forefront and have helped to change the culture in the locker room and on the field. He's proven me wrong and I couldn't be happier with the results thus far. Obviously, it is a small sample size and more seasons will need to be completed before we know how all of this will truly shake out. Here are the season stats for the five QBs selected in the first round:

Baker Mayfield
9 GP...62.7 PCT...2,242 YDS...17 TDS...7 INT...93.2 RATE

Josh Rosen
9 GP...55.5 PCT...1,521 YDS...10 TDS...11 INT...68.9 RATE

Sam Darnold
9 GP...55.0 PCT...1,934 YDS...11 TDS...14 INT...68.3 RATE

Josh Allen
7 GP...52.5 PCT...992 YDS...3 TDS...5 INT...65.2 RATE

Lamar Jackson*
11 GP...60.7 PCT...415 YDS...2 TDS...3 INT...73.1 RATE

*Only 56 passing attempts but rushed for 320 YDS and 2 TDS
