I have gone back and forth on the MACC game, and because of these I think we pull out a close one: 3 extra days of rest and preparation; Buffalo’s QB has been off in the last 3 games; the coaches watched how Ohio ran wild on Buffalo and come up with a good game plan; defense wins championships and our D will ball; and our v. Buffalo’s red zone defense.

If you were playing Toledo, I would say you win. But I have little confidence in NIU when it comes to MACC or bowl games. NIU's record against teams with winning records doesn't seem very good to me over the years under this coach.
