Yeah, his postgame press conference was his final lie to JMU. I can't wait for the next era. Maybe we'll luck out and get a winning coach who can be bothered to stay for 4 years. He's more like Everett Withers than we care to acknowledge. We just accept it more since he won, myself included.
Still a snake oil salesman at the end of the day.
not a snake oil salesman just an ambitious football coach. Wait a minute,, maybe we all just need to recognize that the two are pretty much synonymous.

I believed he was being honest until the next day. He didn't have to say that. I lost some respect for him after that.
The truth is he knew where he was going. The truth is that he knew he caused a distraction and was responsible for the loss. I do think he felt bad about it.
I bet the players saw through his BS. Time to move on.
Whoever the next guy is, I'm sure we'll get the same crap.

RE: Houston to Charlotte?
This whole experience sucks, and we all feel dirty and used.
But truth is, how much do any of us really discuss our future/potential job moves with our current employers? And when we change jobs we don't negatively impact our "co-workers" like a head coach does (athletes, fans, etc). Plus, very few of us are put in a position where we could double and triple our salaries.
Coaches have to strike when they're hot, and the school left behind gets the shaft. And then said school turns and shafts some other school to get their new coach. Unfortunately we're towards the bottom of that shaft-fest so our pucker gets pretty worn.

I'd like to personally thank Charlotte's Athletic Department for making ours look super organized and not as stupid as theirs during this process.

I never thought twice about their program and now I cannot stand them. The amount of shade they were throwing our way made it sound like they were Alabama. If anyone thinks we're giving Houston a hard time, you should read any Charlotte fan's opinions. The best post on twitter came from this guy that said they would be ACC in the next few years.
BWAHAHAHAHA.
