There's a statue of Jerry Richardson outside Bank of America Stadium in uptown. We have two identical statues of a quarterback in motion on either side of the stadium.

I have only seen it in person once... came down for the ECU/Charlotte baseball series and we tailgated right next to the Jerry Richardson statue. It's really, really nice. Just really, really tiny.

Sure you did. Where exactly is that Jerry Richardson statue located?

Maybe it wasn't a Jerry statue... there was some sort of statue. It was a few years ago, memory is hazy. But on the map I can pinpoint exactly where we parked.

There no "maybe" about it.

So... are you a dick to everybody on here? Or just me?

Simple mistake. No need for the inferiority complex.

And there aren't 3 of them they rotate in and out on a regular basis.

Report: Will Healy expected to be next Charlotte head coach

IDK if I'd call that a solid hire, 3 years as head coach and only 1 winning season. Hopefully Austin Peay is just a tough place to win.

Apparently it was the toughest place to win in the nation.

I heard Healy on the radio again today and he was pumping Charlotte. He is a terrific marketer and coach with a stellar reputation in the Middle Tennessee area. Charlotte fans, do not let his record bother you. Austin Peay was the worse team in all FCS and he turned it around.

It would not surprise me if he turns out a better hire than Houston.

Moar results. So far 2 stud transfers, both will probably be eligible next year.

I'm excited about both of these young guys. I know Osborne is likely to only have one year of eligibility, but Brelin should have a few years remaining, if I'm understanding his timeline correctly.

CBS Sports grades the recent coaching hires. They give Charlotte a B on Healy, and ECU a C+ on Houston.

I don't have an opinion on Healy but I think y'all dodged a bullet with Houston.

I don't. I like the Healy hire so far but I think Houston will do well at ECU, though I hope he doesn't.

Interesting that just last week they gave us an A on Houston. Don't know what changed and also there is no comparing London to Houston. Thats the worst comparison ever. Houston has come in and got 3 of our top commits who decommited after Coach Mo was fired to commit back to ECU and he got a 3 star running back who decommited from Purdue to commit to ECU. He is doing a great job thus far in recruiting.

SN: Just noticed that the articles are written by two different journalists. Both definitely have different opinions.

Healy signs 10 players from North Carolina. Seven of them from the Charlotte area.
