That would be hilarious.

PJ would literally come back out of retirement to prevent that from happening.

Got a good chuckle out of that tweet.

There is less than zero chance that GT hires Chad Lunsford.

Lunsford will not leave until his kids are out of school. He and his wife love the Statesboro area. He will never up root his family at this stage in life.

I can’t even type this with a straight face

Wuh? If you're going to upgrade yourself and neuter a rival at the same time ... why not go all the way and grab Dell McGee?

So...do they get into a bidding war with Louisville for Scott Satterfield?

Point of a map of Kentucky. "Show me the recruits there." Point to a map of Georgia. Shoot a glitter cannon at the map. "That's the recruits there."

That's before we get into the Jurich lawsuit and the Adidas investigation. The Cardinal athletic department is a wholesale mess right now. I don't think GT would have to merely offer the larger paycheck. There are other things worth considering.

I mentioned GT a while back as a good landing spot for Satt. He has recruiting connects in GA, likes recruiting high academic student-athletes and knows Woody which helps keep some continuity with current players.

App short list:
Tim Horton
Rhett Lashlee
Bryan Brown
Mike Houston
Curt Cignetti

I think it's one of Auburn's assistants. He was a candidate in our 2013 coaching search.

He lost out on the interim coaching job at Arkansas to John L Smith.

If App didn't hire Satterfield in December 2012, it probably would have been Horton. He wants to retire up here.

RE: Paul Johnson Retiring
GT job is a nice gig. There's a few key factors ........

1. New coach will have time to transition away from triple option
2. Atlanta and state of GA has strong recruiting
3. GT has a winning culture and history
4. No recent sanctions on program

GT job will be a desired position.
