Meanwhile Logan grades out as good on offense (because he can create for others and doesn’t turn it over) and decent on defense.
Not a metric where Logan is not the better player.
Mick and his teammates have already said his defense is Jacob Evans level as a freshman.

hinton can outrebound most centers, and can defend guards with elite handles..and that is right now, not what he will grow to be
logan john is essentially galen robinson
hinton has a bigger body of jacob evans as a senior (same height but Hinton has a bigger build), but Hinton is a true freshman
when the shots start to fall, its game over
i wish you watched the 1st half of the byu game...it was hinton that carried us (corey and armoni had a slow start in that game aswell). when his shots are falling he is a whole nother level ..that just isnt often right now

it happens, houston is heavily reliant on 3, its not a maybe...we will definitely have bad shooting nights...
we are definitely going to lose someone we aren't supposed to..tonight should have been one but we found a way to pull through
and again houston was down 3 players to injury/suspension (dejon, fabian, harris)
all might miss Oregon, but all should be back after that

How come Houston is allowed to have "off shooting nights" but if anyone else does, they suck?

Same goes for opposing teams shooting over 50% from three etc.

im guessing you missed the long debate i hate with invisiblehand on tulsa vs temple. that temple lost to vcu on a bad shooting night
that people are knocking temple for that game but they started 0-17 from 3 (a regularly good shooting team, reliant on 3s) and still almost won. that the loss looks bad, but to be me that a sign of good team (finding a way)
there was like a 5 page debate on that...
so your point is just wrong....
and if you aren't just trying to troll i base it on the identity of the team, if 3pt shooting is your identity and you regularly shoot it at a high percentage, but have 1 really off game...that is the fate of 3 pt shooting team, no one is hot every game
i even noted this when Houston was blowing teams out...i said that houston is only shooting 3s, that its nice that its going in but I would have liked to see them drive every now and then

There is no such thing as an ugly win. Defeats are ugly.
Kudos to USF and Houston for winning.

11/28 (Wednesday) AAC Basketball Games
I just think what’s concerning about this game is not that Houston couldn’t hit 3’s. It’s that the other team couldn’t hit a 3, and just shot 34% and still almost beat Houston.

We've has this discussion before... No one is going to be able to shoot 3s on Houston like that
Our defensive strength is the guard, every single one of our top 5 guards can strap anyone down..I've seen an airballed 3 every game this year of players attempting to shoot over Armoni or Nate
Your post is like saying "they almost beat Cincy/UCF and weren't making there shots either"
If you are trying to find something concerning besides Armonk and Corey starting the game 1 of 20 combined, while taking most of our shots, it's that they outrebounded us badly especially in the 1st half.
Every other game weve had easy put back points

facts are facts my friend
fau beat UCF and shot less than 40% in the paint.."imagine if faus layups were going in" theyd have blown out ucf
if i said that it was tacko/smith/brown and their proven post defense that prevented them from making post points and not fau missing layups, that fau was never going to score a high percentage in the paint vs ucf... is that mental gynmastics ????
should we bring up highlights from when houston played wichta when corey and galen strapped yall shooters down?
mental gynmastics is saying it was okay...i literally said he is looking at the wrong concerning thing...the real issue is that the out rebounded us
