I tell you this. There is not a bowl game or a no conference game that I do not pull for our conference. There is not a school in the conference that I despise or even dislike. Thanks for the support and do really enjoy the bowl and the events with it. My wife and I love staying at the Battle House near Christmas. Always a good time

More fighting between the Mayor and the Ladd board. The Mayor sees the stupidity in sinking nearly a million dollars into a dump of a stadium. However, the city council increased the Ladd funding as a revenge tactic against the Mayor. The City voting "no" on our stadium is the best thing that ever happened to USA.

I'm 100% behind the Mobile bowl moving to USA's OCS. That guarantees a continued tie-in for a bowl game for the SBC.

And I think they will. I don’t think it is a coincidence the contract between Ladd and DG bowl is for 2 years. However, after last Summer anything is possible with City of Mobile.

Nothing to be down and out about. Mobile is a great city to spend a couple of days in for a bowl game. Lots of fun to be had downtown.

My in laws all live in Mobile. It won't be anything special or out of the ordinary for me. Look forward to smashing some Buffalo MAC ass though. Go Belt.

Such short sightedness of the city council. That stadium/property could be used in a much better fashion had they accepted the offer by South. That place will be a hole for Mobile until the city council gets their head out of their asses.
