Frontier is running flights biweekly from Lafayette to Orlando. Just looked up the rates and a round trip from Lafayette to Orlando leaving on Dec 14th and returning on Dec 17th is $77.

Seen a number of Cajuns fans who already have had rooms booked in NOLA for a month or so, but booking cheap cancellable flights is not exactly a poor choice either. COGS

Bowl was run well, the facilities were pretty nice and the TV coverage was very good (of course you have to work to find the right channel). The players had a good time enjoying the tourist destinations. Weather was nice too!

Isn't Arkansas State the last team to beat UCF?

The Bowl Games will be on ESPN Networks, not Plus.

And I'm pretty sure by paying for ESPN Plus you can watch ESPN, ESPN 2, and ESPN 3 Productions.

You’re incorrect.

RE: SBC Championship Game Runner-up to play in Cure Bowl
Cure Bowl should be one of our biggest bowls. CBSSN produces it at a similar level to ESPN's bigger bowl games. Orlando is an awesome travel location for the players and fans. Florida is a great place to show off your brand. Good PR to raise money for breast cancer research. Camping World Stadium was remodeled recently and it is a nice venue. Our players loved going to Universal Orlando to blow off steam.

Usually if games are on ESPN they are also on ESPN+ or ESPN3.

Incorrect.

No game on an ESPN Network is available on ESPN+.

However, if you have a cable login you may use it with WatchESPN and get the games that are on the channels in your package, as well as ESPN3 games.

Also, games on ABC will be available as an ESPN3 stream on the WatchESPN app.

Nope. Separate. Espn3 is included I think, but usually who ever your internet is through carries it anyway. Espn3+ has nothing to do with bowls. Also a lot of streaming has CBSsn. More than standard cable.

That's really the catch to the entire process. CBSSN does a much better job producing their bowl games than ESPN does. (They do great with Arizona as well) However, CBS also doesn't carry the same viewer audience of the 4 letter network.

It becomes a question of, do you want more eye balls, but a 3 hour infomercial about the upcoming College Football Playoff, or fewer eyeballs, but a broadcast dedicated entirely to your football program?

I'm not sure Mohajir would agree with me, but if we're not getting into NOLA, I am perfectly happy getting one of the CBSSN bowls.
