I don't think so
Yeah, I think they're pretty squarely in the NIT. They have some downright terrible losses on their resume this year, if any of them wouldve gone the other way, I think they're in, but as of right now their RPI and SOS arent enough IMO.
I wonder how UCONN feels about having to play in the AAC. Obviously womens bball isnt what moves the needle to get them in a different conference. But have they ever even lost an AAC game? It must get boring after a while.
I don't know if it bothers them as much since they play a national schedule and play pretty much every power team outside of league. An no, they haven't lost in the league yet.

UC Women play UCF at 6:30 p.m. tonight in the semis. Will be on ESPNU.
Would love to see them get to the finals.

RE: The Ladies...
The UC women are playing a 25-5 UCF team that is a lock for the NCAA.
Meanwhile, the women's bracketologist says UC needs to win this and then beat UConn tomorrow. Rumor has it UConn may be resting a player who has been banged up a bit.
Score is 34-34 at the half. Good game to watch on ESPNU.

Yep.
Still a really good season for the Women's Program.
Get into the NIT as a high seed and try and win it.

Done. The missed 3 followed by the made 3 by UCF was a killer.

I believe the entire starting lineup is Juniors and with a good recruiting class, I would expect them to be picked 2nd next season. Had they not started slow learning the new system, they would probably be an NCAA team. Next year they should have a good chance to make the dance.

Being picked 2nd in a conference with UConn is like being picked to win another conference.

Ehhh...they lose Goings, who is an extremely solid player, but outside of that, they return basically all of their primary contributors. Miller will be a potential 20 point 8 assist player next year IMO. Bringing in a top 25 PG, two top 40 wings, and returning our top two scorers make next season a pretty solid bet at the tourney barring any injuries.

I am tremendously proud of the women's program for their improvement this year. Sign me up for season tickets in the Champions Club next year!

Looks like they got a two seed. Is that correct? Should lead to mostly home games.
Go (Lady) Cats!

I don't follow the ladies much but I did see they made the WNIT last year also and lost in the first round at Michigan State.

This UC team should enjoy home court advantage early and should advance. A very impressive turnaround season and the best is yet to come. Go 'Cats.
