Copeland was 1st off the bench as I recall. I think Cullop saw the offense not just struggling but completely failing in the 1st quarter and gave her a chance to provide a spark. I think if she can get in and hit a couple shots to get her confidence up, maybe things will start to fall into place, but she missed 2 good threes and then got scared to take anymore.

Similar with Tshitenge, as she is purported to be one of the best shooters on the team, but she only lasted less than a minute in the game, so not sure what that was about.

Also surprised that T.C-H hardly saw the floor.

Not a good performance by the rockets. Sloppy game on both sides. 20 turnovers, 35% FG, 26% 3 PTS, and 63% FTs. IMO McIntyre has not been a major force in the past three games. Boyd has started slowly as she did last year. She needs to be better than a 12 point/game offensive force for this offensively challenged team. I thought that Beacham and Davis would be major contributors this year but after this early set of games they don't look to me as good as they were last year. The transfers also look like projects although Black does seem to have a little more potential than C-H. Also of note Dayton scored 35 points in their follow up to the Toledo game. I have a difficult time seeing this as a runner up MAC division team.

On the other hand, Duquesne just beat a pretty good Kent State team at Kent. Duquesne returned all five starters from a team that beat the Rockets last year.

No doubt the win over Duquesne was outstanding! It reminds me of the win over Dayton by something like 18 points last year. It was the high water mark for last year's team and I am fearful that the Duquesne win could be similar this year. Surely hope not.

Kent has been bad for a long time, has crappy facilities and no attendance. However, they are on an upward trend. We, on the other hand, have everything, but seem to be sloshing around on the edges of mediocrity.
