Is there a connection between this booster drive and UAB calling so early to get people to renew their season tickets?

Am I able claim the donation to UAB when tax time comes if the donation is in my son's name?

Me too. Just wondering bc I got a call about renewing today, and a couple of friends were called a couple weeks ago. Nothing wrong with that, just curious if it had anything to do with the booster drive.

part of getting the booster number to go up is not losing boosters who for whatever reason arent renewing their tickets/blazerclub donation

I received a call from Alec Bartow today as well as one from a UAB sales guy.

Thats for the 2017 tax year. With the tax reforms that took effect for this year, they took away deductions for many forms of charitable giving, including the 80% deduction for contributions to universities from college sports boosters

I thought if it was a benefit attached to it, then it's no longer deductible.
