Earlier today, in Lisses, France, senior Elsa Racasan finished in 3rd place in the French National Cross Country Championships. The top 3 finishers will be representing France at the World Championships, to be held December 9 in Tilburg, The Netherlands.

The race was moved to Lisses only in the past few days, because of security concerns.

The course was approximately 5400 meters, instead of the normal 6,000 meters, and Elsa finished in 19:44.

This is not exactly how he probably envisioned this going, as he won the U23 men's race.
